Each stone originates from Mt. St. Helens rock dust sourced from 10–20 miles beneath the earth's surface, then pulverized and fused under controlled laboratory conditions at temperatures exceeding 2700°F. After many years of experimentation, we found that by eliminating the iron, chromium, and copper trace elements from the volcanic rock, the elements manganese and titanium create a beautiful rose stone.
